According Riot’s customary practice of “nerfing popular champion”, some current hot LOL champions such as Ryze, Kennen and Jayce are probably nerfed to some extent in the near future. But Jayce is the first target to be nerfed.
In recent PBE patch, The CD (14/13/12/11/10) for Jayce’s E called Acceleration Gate has been totally increased to 16 seconds at its highest level. Recently, LOL designer Meddler also said on its official forum that there would be some changes on Jayce in future.
The designer said, "We're now testing a slight increase to the accelerated speed of his Q called Shock Blasts so that using Q will be a bit better when E is on CD. In general, we want to reduce Jayce's power a bit. Actually, the increase of poke speed is not aimed at fully compensating for his E’ CD nerf."
